Enea simplifies device management with easy-to-use management framework

Enea Element On-Device Management provides model driven configuration, monitoring and control of physical and virtual network functions

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 28, 2017 – Enea® (NASDAQ OMX Nordic:ENEA) today announced a new product exclusively tailored to simplify development of networked device management. Enea Element On-Device Management is a data-model driven management framework. It provides a variety of standard-based northbound management interfaces for configuring, monitoring and controlling physical and virtual network functions. Using Enea Element On-Device Management greatly accelerates the development cycle compared to building proprietary solutions or using lesser products.

Enea ODM is based on the previous product Enea Element, which included device management together with several other functions. In this new product, all functionality is exclusively centered on device management, simplifying evaluation, purchase and use.

One key attribute in the new release is high usability that substantially shortens the learning curve and accelerates the development cycle. Enea Element On-Device Management features comprehensive documentation including a Kick-Start guide to help developers get started, as well as an extensive set of examples that further ease implementation.

Enea Element On-Device Management also includes a set of IETF Yang standard models used as reference models to speed up development. Developers can use them as skeletons for creating new proprietary models that define their specific devices.
