Enea Launches Initiative to Deliver Customer Centric Software Solutions
Stockholm, Sweden and Santa Clara, Calif., ATCA Summit- October 21, 2008 – Enea® (Nordic Exchange/Small Cap/ENEA), a world leading provider of network software and services, today announced a series of initiatives geared toward bringing stronger focus to the company's key vertical markets. The initiatives will combine the company's world-class services expertise and market-leading commercial software with a new emphasis on select open source software projects, thereby helping to foster industry growth and standards adoption.

As a key part of this strategy, Enea is announcing that it is joining the OpenSAF Foundation and contributing to the OpenSAF Project, with the goal of enhancing and complementing the company's portfolio of commercial, high-availability middleware products for telecom equipment manufacturers.Enea will continue to aggressively promote and enhance its market leading, standards-based Enea Element middleware product while at the same time developing an offering for customers who are looking for an open source approach.

Together, these initiatives will enable Enea to address a wider range of customer challenges and deliver more value to companies developing communications systems and connected devices.
