Enea® has since May 2008 had board member Åsa Landén Ericsson as acting President and CEO. The board, after having screened external as well as internal candidates, appoints Per Åkerberg, currently Enea's Chief Operating Officer, as new President and CEO .
"Per Åkerberg has in his role as COO acted as Enea's global sales director. He has strongly contributed to Enea's expansion on the global telecom market the last few years", said Åsa Landén Ericsson in her role as a representative of the Enea board. "Per has a thorough knowledge of the company as well as our market, and the board is convinced that he will continue to successfully grow Enea."
