Enea and Beijing Microtec Research (BMR) Enter into Distribution Relationship in China

The cooperation between two industry leaders will ensure access to innovative embedded software solutions in Chinese market

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, 4 April, 2011 – Enea (NASDAQ OMX Nordic: ENEA) today announced that it is establishing a long-term distribution relationship with the well-recognized Chinese system software company BMR. BMR will have the distribution rights in China for all Enea software products. This cooperation will help Enea accelerate its development in China, and also help it introduce its innovative technology and solutions into the Chinese market – to meet the rapidly growing demand for embedded software development technologies. BMR will focus on strengthening the market position for Enea’s solutions in customer areas such as aero/defense, government and universities.

Currently, the major software products offered by Enea include Enea OSE® – realtime operating system, Enea® Hypervisor – operating system virtualization solution, Enea® Optima – Eclipse based development toolEnea® dSPEED – high performance DSP management software platform, Enea® LINX IPC – multicore inter-process communication, Enea® Element – high availability middlewarePolyhedra® – fault tolerant database and Enea® Netbricks protocol stacks. Enea OSE is a real-time operating system dedicated to complex embedded system optimization, its direct message passing mechanism greatly simplifies the software design of distributed systems, and easily supports multicore, multi-processor and multi-DSP system architectures.
