Aptilo Appoints Jonas Björklund to Chief Technology Officer
STOCKHOLM – Aptilo Networks announced that Jonas Björklund, a co-founder of Aptilo who formerly served as the company’s Director Sales Engineering and Delivery, EMEA, has been named Chief Technology Officer.
In this capacity Björklund will develop and articulate Aptilo´s strategic technical direction through close dialogue and relationships with customers, partners and other industry influencers.
“Jonas’ deep understanding of our product and solution capabilities, together with his knowledge of the Wi-Fi and telecom markets, make him well-suited for this mission,” said Paul Mikkelsen, CEO, Aptilo Networks.
Zakaria Bennani will take on the role of Director Sales Engineering and Delivery, EMEA, replacing Björklund. Bennani returns to Aptilo after 1.5 years at digital security company Gemalto where he was a Solution Sales Manager. Prior to Gemalto, Bennani worked at Aptilo in Sales Engineering and eventually served as Sales Director for EMEA.
“Zakaria’s experience positions him very well to lead the EMEA Sales Engineering and Delivery organization. We are proud to welcome him back to Aptilo,” said Mikkelsen.
Björklund, who joins the Aptilo management team in this role, will be based at Aptilo’s Dallas office which serves as home base for operations in the North American market. Bennani will be based at Aptilo’s Stockholm headquarters.
