Aptilo Appoints Former Telenor Executive to Sales Director Europe
Reporting to Anders Emilsson, VP Sales EMEA, Mitov will continue building the company’s portfolio of carriers and enterprises looking to adopt and monetize Wi-Fi. He will be based at Aptilo’s headquarters in Stockholm.
“Aleksandar has deep knowledge of the telecom space, with more than twenty years of experience in sales, sourcing and management. We are delighted to have him on board,” said Emilsson.
Prior to Aptilo, Mitov spent 17 years at Telenor, forging partnerships and managing global clients, most recently as director of sales for IPX and mobile solutions building partnerships and value networks with other mobile operators. He also led the group relations team in Telenor Global Services, first as regional head then director, delivering compelling wholesale solutions for the Telenor Group.
Mitov earned an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a BSc in mathematics and economics from the University of East Anglia.
