AdaptiveMobile Security Awarded Tier 1 Vendor Status for SMS and Signalling Firewalls in 2021 ROCCO Reports

Dublin, Ireland – April 20, 2021 – AdaptiveMobile Security, the world leader in mobile network security, has been recognized as a Tier One provider, the highest attainable level, in the annual ROCCO SMS Firewall and Signalling Firewall vendor benchmarking reports for 2021.

ROCCO, an independent research and strategy firm focused on Roaming, Messaging and Fraud and Security, publishes annual vendor benchmarking reports based on direct input and feedback from mobile operators on their suppliers and partners. The latest SMS Firewall and Signalling Firewall Vendor Benchmarking reports evaluate brand perception, customer experience and competitiveness. In total, 215 Mobile Network Operators (MNO) across 109 countries were asked to grade vendors for the SMS Firewall Report, while 97 MNOs from 88 countries contributed to the Signalling Firewall report.

ROCCO recognized AdaptiveMobile Security as a top vendor in both sectors, achieving an average score of 4.22 from a possible 5 for its SMS Firewall and 4.33 for Signalling Firewall products. Only those providers whose score exceeded 4 points out of 5 across all categories were awarded Tier One status.

Over the past 12 months, AdaptiveMobile Security has consolidated its position as a global market leader in network security, and is described in the report as being “Among the few vendors who are keeping the pace of change in signalling threats and supporting customers by providing reliable solutions and excellent expertise.”

“It’s great to see AdaptiveMobile this year as a Tier One vendor in our Signalling Firewall Benchmarking research. We have been following their progress over the last four years and can clearly see they are growing in popularity year on year with mobile operators. As well as having close to perfect scores on several key KPIs, we also see that operators see AdaptiveMobile as clear leaders in ‘Understanding the industry’ which is crucial to firewall services,” said Jason Bryan, CEO at ROCCO Research.

“With 27 vendors in the market, there’s also considerable competition in SMS Firewall services, and it’s clear from the feedback of Mobile Operators that AdaptiveMobile are one of the few companies who are admired for really having the edge over their competitors based on their strong reputation for ‘Technical Expertise’, ‘Quality of Service’ and ‘Reliability’,” Bryan continued. “A big congratulations goes to the team at AdaptiveMobile for reaching Tier One in both SMS and Signalling Firewall researches in 2021.”

“Reports like those provided by ROCCO are vital in an industry that is constantly adapting and evolving to meet the challenges of new and emerging threats. With the information being provided by those whose opinions matter the most, our customers, it is not only a useful benchmarking exercise for the industry, but also a fascinating insight into where and how we can improve,” said Graeme Coffey, Head of Marketing at AdaptiveMobile Security. “To receive these certifications is a great achievement, and receiving recognition not just from industry experts but also from our customers is incredibly gratifying.”
