Raising the Bar for Threat Detection

SuriCon 2025

Enea is committed to combating evolving cyber threats. Through our OISF gold-level membership we actively contribute to the development of Suricata, the world’s leading open source engine for network threat detection and security.

In an innovative approach to network protection, we combine Suricata’s proven security capabilities with Enea’s traffic intelligence to deliver the next generation of network threat detection solutions.

Meet us at SuriCon to find out more!

If you’re attending SuriCon, the Suricata community conference, and want to find out more about our work with Suricata or our DPI-based traffic visibility technology, we’d love to meet you.

Don’t Miss Our Conference Session!

A Signature-Based Approach to Detect Evolving Malware Communication Patterns and Behaviors

Malware constantly evolves its behavior to evade intrusion detection systems (IDS). Frequent signature updates help, but they also expand databases in ways that degrade performance, while machine learning approaches often fail to generalize to unseen traffic.

Join (Mohamed) Amine Larabi, VP R&D, and Arezki Laga, Senior Research Engineer & Innovation Lead, to discover a novel signature-based method that leverages existing IDS signatures to overcome this generalization challenge, thus enabling the detection of malware evolutions without having to continuously create new rules for each mutation.
