Nordic Carrier Renews Aptilo Wi-Fi Managed Service for Seventh Year

STOCKHOLM – A tier-1 carrier in the Nordics has extended its contract for the Aptilo Managed Service™ for the seventh year. The carrier serves more than 180 million users in the Nordics, Baltics and Eurasia.

Aptilo operates the Wi-Fi service on a multi-vendor Wi-Fi network on behalf of the carrier, where Aptilo’s dedicated Network Operation Center will lead the network design, dimensioning and rollout activities, as well as maintain the performance and quality KPIs.

“This is a ringing endorsement of the Aptilo Managed Service, which enables this large carrier to roll out Wi-Fi service to more hotspots, more countries quickly while streamlining costs,” said Henrik Cederlöf, Global Support Manager, Aptilo Networks.

Carriers can fast-track deployments by outsourcing the operation of the Aptilo Service Management Platform™ (SMP) to the Aptilo Managed Service, which operates from one of the company’s regional data centers located worldwide. It can also be handled remotely by Aptilo’s experts from servers at customers’ own premises.

Carriers can efficiently manage wireless operating expenses by outsourcing the operation of Aptilo’s platform on a monthly basis without the need for upfront investment in hardware, software or operation personnel.
