John Kennedy is VP of Operations for Enea’s Network Security business unit, where he oversees threat intelligence and customer service operations. He has almost 21 years of experience working with mobile operators, helping them address messaging, signalling security, fraud, and monetization challenges. With a strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of telecom security, John brings practical insight into the evolving threats facing operators and how they can be addressed. John is one of the original founders of AdaptiveMobile Security, which was acquired by Enea in 2021 and became the foundation for Enea’s Network Security business unit. During John’s time at AdaptiveMobile Security, he held several roles, including Head of Pre-Sales Engineering. Before that, John was a Senior Manager at Symantec, working across its Enterprise Anti-Virus products. John holds a B.Sc. in Business and Technology from Strathclyde University, an M.Sc. in Information Systems from Huddersfield University, and an MBA from the Open University.
