Enea signs 1.1 MUSD deal with US medtech company

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept 16, 2013 – A leading US medical technology company has signed a service agreement with Enea valued at 1.1 MUSD. The agreement is an extension for the remainder of the year with one of Enea’s long-term customers.

Enea provides professional services based in the US and Romania, utilizing the Enea bridged services model. Enea is the main contributor of complete outsourced engineering services to develop and maintain the next generation of software for the customer’s infusion systems.

The Enea team in Romania is responsible for architecture and all aspects of development and engineering, and the Enea team in North America is responsible for all program management and delivery.

Furthermore, Enea provides all the quality assurance required by the FDA, including development of a hardware platform to automate the infusion system in the lab, development and integration of a re-usable test framework, development of all the test scripts needed, execution and management of all the test automation, and execution of all the manual testing that the automation framework does not handle.
