Enea Experts develops control system and user interface for solar heating pump on behalf of EVI HEAT

New model with 7-inch touchscreen enhances user-friendliness

Enea has been working on behalf of EVI HEAT to develop a system solution for their latest model of the GeoSun solar heating pump. The ultramodern control with its 7-inch touchscreen has attracted plenty of attention from consumers. The objective was to develop a safe, informative control system simple for users to operate. No buttons, no knobs, no levers – just touchscreen functions.

Enea has developed the hardware and the software which controls the pumps and the user interface for the touchscreen. The system controls a heat pump which manages both ground source heat and solar energy in the best, most energy-efficient way possible. The first variant is now available on the market and has gone on sale in a number of countries.

“EVI HEAT heat pumps use ground source heat or sea heat in combination with solar heat, which saves a lot of money and also has less impact on our environment”, says Ronny Ericsson, CEO of EVI HEAT. “Enea has helped us to produce the latest model, which has undergone a number of improvements. Thanks to the broad knowledge available at Enea, we were able to develop a product which has attracted plenty of attention thanks to its innovative design and user-friendly interface.”

“We are very pleased to have EVI HEAT as a customer”, says Per Björklund, Vice President of Enea Experts in Stockholm. “They trusted us to handle this as a complete project. This is a model which we have already used, and we know it is successful. One of the advantages of using Enea is that we have over 40 years of experience of combining hardware and software to make user-friendly solutions which work.”

Enea and EVI Heat have entered into a contract relating to ongoing cooperation and further development of the products.
