As a data traffic mediation platform in telecom operators’ networks, it can detect when an end user is streaming video, gauge the resolution level, and automatically adjust bandwidth to match available network resources. How Does Enea Encrypted Video Manager Work?

The Enea Encrypted Video Manager (part of the overall Traffic Management software portfolio by Enea) sits between the user device and the streaming server, using real-time network traffic data and detection capabilities to dynamically adjust throughput for main video transport protocols such as QUIC.

The streaming traffic is optimized at the protocol level without decrypting or re-encoding the content, with the system constantly monitoring for dropped packets, high latency, and other indicators of throughput changes.
