SA Forum Appoints Enea’s Jim Lawrence Member Relations Officer

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, and SAN JOSE, Calif., March 20, 2008 – Enea® (Nordic Exchange/Small Cap/ENEA), a world leading provider of network software and services, today announced that the Service Availability Forum™ (SA Forum), the leader in developing open specifications for carrier-grade service availability, has appointed Jim Lawrence to serve as its member relations officer.

The addition of five new member companies in 2007, the growing adoption of its recently enhanced specifications, and higher levels of collaboration with industry organizations to further the growth of the commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) ecosystem, has put the forum in very good standing for 2008. SA Forum members are determined to continue building on this momentum and enable implementers to bring their products and services to market faster and more cost-effectively.

Jim Lawrence has previously served as a member of the Service Availability Forum, where he has provided leadership as chair of several working groups and served on the board of directors. He is currently the chief software standards officer at Enea. Lawrence is a telecommunications industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, during which he pioneered many telecom technologies and solutions for companies such as Motorola and Intel.

“With innovative strengths and ideas, our new members further amplify the current high level of energy and productivity,” said Jim Lawrence, SA Forum member relations officer. “I am excited to be a part of the further development of our specifications and to drive broad adoption of these industry standards in 2008.”
