Position: Legal Counsel – ICT Law
Required Starting date: December 2019
Contract: Permanent

You will support the Group Legal Director in the day-to-day management of legal matters for Enea and its different business units.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate customer and supplier agreements (NDA, license agreement, distribution, software development, support and maintenance agreements, etc.) on a global basis
  • Advise stakeholders both at group head and business unit levels
  • Perform analysis and regulatory monitoring (at EU, US and international levels), particularly for electronic communications law, data protection, commercial law
  • Deal with external providers (law firms, etc.) and regulatory authorities
  • Analyze pre-litigation matters and follow up on litigations with external law firms
  • Provide support in M&A activities, especially through the performance of due diligences
  • Deal with basic matters in labor law and corporate law, in particular for the French subsidiary

 

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Law, with a specialization in Information and Communication Technology Law
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience, ideally in the software industry
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), ability to draft and negotiate legal documents in English
  • Knowledge of basic principles of computer networks and internet applications; interest in information and communication technologies.
