ENEA to Demonstrate Element™ High-Availability Middleware at AdvancedTCA Summit

Terry Pearson selected to speak at two presentations

Booth # 220

December 6, 2005, San Jose, CA – Enea, the world leader in advanced device software, today announced that it will be conducting the first public demonstration of its Element™ high-availability middleware and application development framework at the upcoming AdvancedTCA Summit (www.AdvancedTCAsummit.com). Visitors to Enea’s booth will be able to see Element in action and learn more about Enea’s embedded operating systems and middleware products.

Enea’s newly announced Element is a breakthrough solution for distributed, multiprocessor software development.  Element eliminates the need to develop custom middleware in house, providing a commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution that enables telecom, automotive and medical equipment manufacturers to slash software development cycles by 50% or more.

Element provides core services for synchronizing, instrumenting, monitoring, and establishing communications between applications spread across multiple operating systems and processors.
It also provides network supervision, fault management, and upgrade management services that make it easy to dynamically monitor, repair, configure/provision, and upgrade distributed systems as they operate live in the field.

At the Enea booth, show attendees will be able to test drive some of these services, including Element’s event logging, debug and fault management services.

Additionally, Terry Pearson, vice president of product management for Element at Enea, will be participating in two presentations. On Wednesday, December 7 at 8:30 A.M. in ballroom salon J, Mr. Pearson will be part of the “Extending the value of AdvancedTCA” panel that will be exploring the software building blocks that are critical to the success of AdvancedTCA based solutions.

On Thursday, December 8 at 2:00 P.M. in the San Jose Ballroom, Mr. Pearson will be part of a panel presenting a tutorial on AdvancedTCA System Design as well as information on the application development frameworks that are essential for ATCA solutions. The Summit will be held on December 6-8 at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose, California.  For further information about the AdvancedTCA Summit, please visit: http://www.AdvancedTCAsummit.com.
