Reducing lead-time in the development process
In the medical device arena, IT and communications are playing an increasingly important role. Stiffer competition and the availability of new electronic technologies are driving this trend. In the health care sector, demands on reliability and accuracy are exceptionally high. Thus, deep experience and an understanding of the customer’s specific requirements are crucial.
At Enea, it’s our belief that long-term customer relations are always important, however they are particularly important in this area, where knowledge of the customer’s processes and an understanding of the stringent quality requirements can be decisive for the success or failure of the project.
We help our customers to augment their own competence, both in the form of expert consultation and/or as an external development department. Typically, our assignments involve qualified product development in high-tech areas where we can shorten lead-times. With our help, the interval between the basic idea and market introduction can be sharply reduced.
We can take on assignments in which the development of both the hardware (PBAs, FPGAs, digital signal processors) and the software might be included. Various forms of testing, such as integration, verification and validation, may also be included. Other common assignments include quality management, mentoring, project management and training.
