Training Seminar: Basic & Advanced DO-178B/DO-254

Attend our Basic and Advanced DO-178B / DO-254 Training Seminar held in sunny Phoenix, Arizona on November 8 – 9, 2007.  Meet with the experts!  Learn about the latest tools, techniques, and success tips from professionals at one of the largest safety-critical consulting companies in North America – Enea.

These processes, which are the FAA benchmark for safety critical systems, have broad applicability in a wide range of applications requiring a high level of safety criticality, including avionics, medical equipment, and telecom systems.

Enea provides both on-site and off-site training in the FAA's civil avionics standard, RTCA DO-178B. The 2-day course is taught by several of Enea's Sr. Engineers and FAA-Designated Engineering Representatives (DER's). The course instructors are of the highest caliber available anywhere in the world, and have many years of hands-on experience designing and certifying software to DO-178B standards. All past attendees have called it one of the most valuable training experiences they've ever had.

In fact, many attendees are not involved with DO-178B related software, but use the knowledge to better their own products/expertise in control ystems, medical software, telecommunications, transportation and other critical software industries. If you are managing, engineering, testing or auditing a high-reliability or avionics software project, this will likely be the most valuable course you can attend. All attendees receive valuable proprietary Enea data, normally available only to key Enea clients.

    Key topics include:

    • Integrating DO-178B into your existing software process/methodologies.
    • Using certified and qualified commercial tools to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness.
    • Structural coverage: advanced topics for experienced software test engineers (includes a copy of the industry standard: Enea's Structural Coverage Process Document).
    • Using DERs: their role and responsibilities.
    • How to certify your software quickly, expertly, and with minimum cost.
    • The DO-178B lifecycle explained clearly and concisely.
    • Practical DO178B interpretations: What does DO-178B mean in the real world?
    • Passing DO-178B audits: How to pass the first time.
    • Applying DO-178B to other fields: medical, instrumentation, and telecommunications.
    • Proprietary TekSci DO-178B checklists: become proficient in record time.
