CodeWarrior™ Development Studio tools offer a comprehensive integrated development environment for hardware bring-up through application programming. Hosted under Windows, CodeWarrior provides OSE- and OSEck-aware source code debugging for PowerPC (OSE) and StarCore (OSEck) targets. Freescale’s run-control and hardware-assisted debug tools, including PowerTap Pro ICE, WireTap, and USBTap, are available with CodeWarrior or separately. MULTI from Green Hills Software
Enea supports the MULTI Integrated Development Environment for OSE release 4.x. This includes support for the MULTI IDE’s optimizing compilers and source-level debugger, which features OSE-aware debugging. RealView Development Suite from ARM
Enea supports the ARM RealView Development Suite for OSE releases 4.x and 5.x. This includes support for both the RealView C/C++ compiler and debugger. Code Composer Studio and Code Generation Tools from Texas Instruments
Enea supports TI’s Code Composer Studio (CCStudio) and Code Generation Tools (CGT) for OSEck application development on TI’s C6000 and C5000 DSP families. This includes support for the IDE’s compiler and debugger. Enea also provides a set of OSEck-specific plug-ins for the CCStudio IDE, which provide kernel-aware freeze-mode debugging and post-mortem debugging. Developers can use CCStudio’s project manager to build applications within the IDE, and with a single click, start OSE Illuminator to perform non-intrusive, run-mode, system-level debugging.
Embedded Workbench from IAR
Enea supports IAR’s Embedded Workbench for OSE Epsilon. This includes support for the complete IDE, including the assembler, C/C++ compiler and debugger. OSE-aware debugging is available for selected target architectures. The Embedded Workbench is hosted under Windows, and supports several microcontrollers, including ARM, SH2, NEC V850, M16C/M32C, HC12, AVR, and the Intel 8051.
