Description
Java ME is by far the most ubiquitous application platform for mobile devices available. Virtually every phone sold today has support for Java ME and about two billion phones with Java ME support have already been sold.
This course looks at processes, concepts and ideas that should be familiar to a Java ME developer. The Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP), which is the base on which most application are developed, are covered in detail and an overview is given of other Java ME APIs that are common in mobile phones today.
