ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Course

The course provides basic knowledge of testing. After the course there is the opportunity to sit an examination for the ISEB Software Testing Foundation Certificate. Test is gaining recognition as a specialized field. In the development of systems and software, testing can account for half of the total cost. It is possible to reduce this cost significantly and still achieve improved quality. A prerequisite is a well-structured test process that builds on competence.


Objectives
To give people involved in testing, fundamental knowledge in testing, test methods and testing tools.

Who Should Attend?
The course for anyone involved in testing that participates in test preparation, execution and reporting. It is also worthwhile for project leaders and developers, who need an introduction to testing or who test software.

Previous Knowledge
Some experience of programming, software development or testing would be considered an advantage.

ISEB-certification
Enea is the first ISEB-accredited supplier in Europe, outside the UK, to offer this training. If you would like to raise your status as a tester or simply check your knowledge, then you have the opportunity to sit an examination to receive an ISEB Software Testing Foundation Certification. The examination is held on the last day of the course. It consists of 40 multiple-choice questions in English and takes one hour. There is an additional charge for the examination, currently £141.
