ConfD is an XML-based software solution for on-device network management. ConfD is the only XML-based toolkit that allows developers to automatically render the three critical northbound interfaces (NETCONF, Web, and CLI) all from a single data model. ConfD includes a built-in database, support for high availability, robust security, and advanced transaction management.

Tail-f Systems customers can choose among different modules of ConfD depending upon their application. ConfD can be used either to extend an existing management system or to implement a new management system.
